I’m trying to create a program using a small linux distribution that can be booted from a USB (kinda how DBAN operates). The program with simple output system specs upon request, no GUI, simplicity is the goal. My question is what do i need to learn in order to make this happen? Is it simple or complex? I do have a bit of programming experience, mostly web and some C. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.
